While everyone remembers about Metal Sonic because of his iconic race in CD, Tails doll because of his overall creepiness and Egg Robot for being the main antagonist of Knuckle's story in Sonic & Knuckles, people are barely talking about Metal Knuckles from Sonic R despite being in the same game with the other robots.

I entirely agree with that video

I'm glad he's in the Message Board in two different mods (especially that one https://mb.srb2.org/threads/metal-knuckles-tails-doll-sonic-r-characters-v1.29967/ )

If Metal knux ever comes back i just hope the writters make him a killing machine, and that he doesn't care about winning, and doesn't even give the opponent a chance to breathe
 
With the latter part of it i feel like archie could have made a 'modern' design that made it more like what made the design so iconic, but it really is quite good

Metal Sonic was supposed to be more or less like that (with the speed as well)

I don't know about Archie, I know they like putting a ton of characters and robot versions of them.
 
I think another big issue is that there's a lot of robotic versions of the cast (and Sonic to begin with got two different Mecha Sonic, one dubbed "Silver Sonic" by fans and Archie, Metal Sonic, Metal Sonic Kai from Knuckles' Chaotix, the mini-silver Sonic from 8-bit Sonic 2 and the unnamed Mecha Sonic in Adventure, dubbed Silver Sonic 2.0 by Archie).

And we're not even starting with the Archie comic ones.

Then we got Mecha Knuckles in Advance (which was an obvious nod to his look during the Sonic 3 cutscenes), making this a bit more confusing.

Maybe Sega got tired with all those "Mecha/Metal someone"
 
Sonic team can back metal knuckles and they can create metal tails !
So we will have team metal sonic ! It can be the rival of team sonic !
But this is still a suggestion !

Maybe they will back it in classic sonic world ? Don't forget that sliver sonic made his appearance in mania too !
 
There's a Metal Tails in the comics but I'd rather have them keep Tails Doll as his robotic counterpart.
 
I don't get the whole creepypasta around this one (as much as I hate creepypastas to begin with, especially Sonic.exe).

I appreciate that they didn't want to do the same thing for Tails compared to Sonic and Knuckles
 
so yes ! i found tails doll creepy in the first times but now i grew up and i see him as one of sonic character !
and why not it can be ! but sadly sonic team forgets him since sonic R !
he appeared during the classic era same as fang , bean and so many others that they must return to classic sonic world !
and as i said he must be in a team with metal sonic and metal knuckles to face team sonic !

I always liked Metal Knux and i honestly think he's underrated, and the Archie Metal Knux feels underused since, we only got one panel of him fighting Knuckles and then Metal Knux's dead body gets possessed by a plant.

Everyone hates Mecha Knuckles from Sonic Advance and it makes me sad. He may not be as cool as Metal Knuckles but I still think he's very underrated.
