Are you guys going to release creator.wad along with 2.1 or was all that just a April Fool's joke? If it's not a joke, I would really like to see how creator.wad would work.
 
It won't be released because it doesn't work anymore. The implementations have changed a lot in 2 years. I dunno if one of the devs wants to fix it.
 
Also, if there is any other increminating piece of evidence that prooves that Lua programmation is awesome, please do moderators!

I have a question; how many match/tag stages are there in 2.1.

Or; are the same match maps still used for tag?

It was a pretty good idea. Does that mean no one will ever be able to make somthing like creator.wad?

If the old 2.1 match/CTF beta is any indication, there's gonna be 19 match stages total, which is way higher than the previous 9 stages in 2.0.x. Though I'm unsure if any stages have been added or removed since that beta's been released.

They probably removed the orbital hangar place. I remember hearing them say how it was all fancy looks, but not fun to play in. I also seem to recall them disliking Granite Gorge as well, and the CTF level with the shrink shortcuts.

So I'm sure a lot of the new levels have either been cut or altered since the were last shown.

Personally, I'm hoping the fort level with the gates is out. It's not all that fun, IMO.

No, what it does should still be possible with Lua. It's just creator.wad was made early on in the days of Lua, and *a lot* has changed about Lua since then so it's rather outdated now.
