I will be watching this thread, it will be better than watching WIP shots and .gifs on Discord become completely buried just a couple days later.Hey, remember when this topic was locked for reasons?
Those reasons were dumb. Open to post, for all your small projects or snippets of stuff you worked on!
Ha ha, same...Ugh... I feel so bad for those posts I made all those years ago. I was an immature kid. I'm sorry for my behavior back then.
That looks sick! Only thing is i'd reccomend trying to do a similar thing to what Axis2d did aswell as all the other stuff so we could have the true 2.5d srb2 experience with custom levelsCurrently working on various stuff to better my skill when tackling two big projects I'm doing.
For example there's this thing I've been on the fence about putting into releases for map makers:

Basically a 2D+ mode, that allows mappers to make more use of things like the camera having more features and flexibility, player/enemy movement & positioning (also includes springs locking your movement). I plan to add more features very soon.
That was kinda the plan but the original author of axis2D is porting their work. Which saves me the trouble fortunately, I'll still work on what I've got, as I plan on adding in some interesting features. That looks sick! Why do we keep meeting like this...
The character in rairai104n's gif is Spike, the protagonist from the Ape Escape series.I might be missing context; it sounds like this character is based off of a certain game?
this really goes to show the current state of the series, huhI might be missing context; it sounds like this character is based off of a certain game?
Pretty solid start to your project, at any rate.
Oh yeah. I thought I kinda recognized him, though I've never seen the game in action. Definitely curious to see what comes out of the final product.
