I was just watching the trailer again on Nintendo channel(because it was cool...) ad when I went to details it mentioned online connectivity... But it may just say that only because it's downloadable...

I wouldn't say most don't care, though the fact that most are blinded by the years of disappointment which lowered their expectations leads to what people we have now (those who have less hope for Sega's sonic games). Spazzo has a point, it's better to ditch expectations & hope and just wait till we see progress to really come to conclusions.
But seeing how bitter the fans have become...it just won't work out.
This is the best solution. I expect nothing from Sonic 4. If it happens to be a good game, I'll be pleasantly surprised instead of the other way around.

I agree with Spazzo on breaking away from the Sonic Cycle.
Besides,there are so many games that are favorites of many and are coming out this year, why try to build up a reason to be disappointed about one game?
When anyone focus on one game they say they are disappoited in before it even was released wound up saying stuff like "I hope *company's or person's name* would not figure a way to screw up *game's name or character*!" (After release) "*Game's name* was a waste of time and money! Should have spent my cash on something better."
Almost sounds like a person who is disappointed in a present before they even bother to opening it. People will always find the smallest and dumbest reasons to complain.
There are some parts of the game's development that are questionable but still everyone just have to wait until release, it is no use complaining anyways, it does not change a thing.
I mean look at the past Sonic games people had high hopes for.
EDIT:: It looks like Lost Labyrith is not going to be like Labyrith entirely, as far as the water level Labyrith Zone was.
