My first ever SRB2 addon is here! This is an overhaul on Sonic's Base moveset, built from the SA1 Spindash script by Starlight: https://mb.srb2.org/threads/sa1-spindash-it-doesnt-matter.28199/ and some help from discord. All assistance credits can be found in the script.
MOVESET:
Pressing Custom2 while in the air will initiate the Speed attack from Sonic Boom. (the fangame) Doing this attack will send you thrusting downwards in the direction of the analog stick.
The thok has been remade to shoot Sonic Higher, though accsessing gamebreaking speeds is locked behind the new Dashmode, which does nothing but indicate when the faster thok and speed attack can be used.
The spindash has been reworked entirely to be usable pretty much everywhere, as long and both the spin and jump buttons are held.
ADDITIONALLY, roll locking has completely been removed, and aerial abilities can now be used whenever you're airborne.
