Great job at your first mod! Making a character mod is not easy so it's cool to see some experimentation!
There are things that I believe you can improve on. When importing sprites, make sure to properly align the offsets of your sprites in your editor. That way, your sprite remains center rather then constantly erratically from left to right.
While the minimum requirement was reached to pass, I think you should put more effort towards animating your character. Right now your character's run, walk, jump, and many other frames are still images. Try making your character's limbs move! It will make the character feel like they are in the game rather then an image sliding across the screen.
Also, you really did not need to include the entirety of Super Sonic and Tails' sprites into your mod. All that does is bloat the filesize.
While I am rating this low, don't be discouraged! Keep practicing and improving your skills!
