the
shoe update
now, SRB2 shades shoes a different way, ill expand on this update soon but let's start.
Sonic-Type Shoes
For Sonic-Like shoes or something, Your gonna need 6 colors, a dark, light, lighter orange red, normal red, white, and Grey.
Now, draw the shoe, shade the bottom of the shoe with dark red and grey, then at the top of the shoe, use the light red, then the lighter orange red color on top of it.
For the socks, just shade on both sides or the left or right depending on their position, and for a shoe behind, use grey for white parts and dark red for red.
Other / Tails-Type Shoes
This is really easy, you need a dark, normal and light color for each side.
