Have you ever wanted to replicate SRB2's artstyle with images for some reason?
Well me, will try to explain it!
Let's begin with a little cover image for this guide
uh i changed the cover so uh sorry for that
Now, you see. The shading would be on the bottom, and the lighting would be at the top!
But, you gonna need colors,
4 if you count the little thing in the light shading, or 3 if you don't count it.
It could also be 3 if you don't count the lighting under the lighter circle.
Now look at this one.
Normal Sonic in the artstyle!
We're doing the head for a bit.
eyes!!
If your drawing a classic character, draw a white circle in the top of the eye, then just streak at the bottom with some dark gray.
For the top of the head, shade the ear, and the lighter circle a bit bottom right..
The bottom of spines will be dark, and for the ear on the left, the light shading on the right, middle normal color, and dark on the left.
For the skin, 2 colors, shade at the left in the shape of the muzle, and leave the whole other side alone.
Inside ear, dark left, normal right.
Now, Neon's tutorial is def better than this, so go check that out!!
Anyways, the more I try to draw in this artstyle < ..i dunno, the more I'll post about this!
