Are they supposed to lose track of the player so often?

Their a one to one of the original flickies so yes they will lose track easily, their not 2.2 resprites of the flickies. As for the rat I did say it randomly zig zags around the floor.

It looks cool but I then realized it's for the level maker. Can you make it so it can be inside badniks in the game?

Yes you can but you need to manually add it in the level header it's explained on the main page
