Definitely the end of an era. Hopefully, this puts fickleheart into the rest she wished for, as well as her gamemod addon. I've just played yesterday with 16 players and it works almost exactly as her combi addon did, with a few improvements. For example, teleporters work much better now, whereas in fickle's they thrown you whatever it felt like. There are some exceptions though. Grow is definitely very buggy right now, and it got to the point I had to disable grow in my server completely, because the "permanent" growth state bug mentioned in the OP more or less occurred at all times, which caused unfair games. It's not just "visual", the person remained in grow state (can crush people), as well as having the speed boost.
The physics and gameplay were very well replicated, with the quirks included. However, fear not, because now people actually CAN fix said quirks (and bugs), because the addon is reusable.
Absolutely great work, and hopefully this starts some neat customizations for Combi Ring.
