Thanks to you, you did a good basis to continue this port. Unlike many other ports, yours it's very closer to be faithful and that's why it got popular nowadays. All I did is finish it and make it extra faithful.

If you ever decide to come back or maintain this along with me in the future (like the old times lol), please let me know!

Oh my god?? A Faithful port?? Even all of the characters?? COUNT ME IN!!

Never would i imagine my scary childhood to comeback like this, i even wished for its lore to get finished. This is great to replay without getting bothered by final demo's jankyness lol
Absolutely love it

I have completed both campaigns of EMW5.

Levels: I must say, the levels are fun. I like open but linear levels, they are fun to speed through. The Mystic Ruins are well made, but kinda confusing; I find myself running around like an idiot not knowing where to go until I somehow find my way to the next zone.

Graphics: I don't like the corpses and gore, this calls me back to sonic.exe (which I dislike). And also, using metal sonic as the character who kills makes me annoyed because he is one of my favorites, and the comparisons between him and exe stuff are unbeatable.

Music: The music is good, even if it is taken from other sources. For as far as original goes (i believe), I like the "metallic" version of the Mystic Ruins song, and also the Not So Green Hill songs. Sheesh, this mod is not beating the sonic.exe allegations.

Bosses: The battles against Eggman are eh, the Goop one gets so fast to a point it's almost impossible to defeat. The battles against these "metals" are quite annoying, the projectiles, they're super fast and hard to catch. Mainly in the Mystic Ruins battle, since there are FOUR of these to defeat. And the final boss has an insta kill attack if you're not careful, and obviously that is annoying as well.

The port itself is fantastic, great job. I must point out that the guy who made this mod originally also made the FNAF Doom series, which is a crazy fun fact.

Yeah, SkorneDemon made lots of mods for SRB2 Final Demo back then. Most of them are very advanced for its time. If I remember correctly he's a veteran on Doom modding so I guess that experience helped him a lot on the making of Eggmanway series. I consider Eggmanway 5 one of his biggest creations made on SRB2 and has been very remembered historically by far. Porting this was 100% worth it.

There's other stuff he made and I want to port over once I finish some of my other pending addons.

At last... We can Eggman our ways to the fifth power.
Took long enough tbh

It's a hella ambitious level pack for its time. Of course, that ambition comes in the form of Final Demo level design, so don't expect anything too crazy, along with a few questionable level design choices.

As for the port itself? Very faithful. You can play with all the characters specifically made for it, along with the music, sfx and extras it had. Though you can always be a contrarian and go with the vanilla cast or a modded char (with the hiccup of no-spins being unable to beat the main story)

Anyways. It was fun testing this alongside everyone else. Glide made a great job porting this to the MB.

...Ah, and that red bloke ain't my uncle :skull:
