I lost motivation to work on this mod again, and that is mostly due to the ambition I had for the project. It's better for my health to cancel the project.

All of these are wonderful mods on this very message board, and I recommend you download them. PlatinumPhysics 3.0 development wasn't completely in vain, however. I plan on releasing two lua files that are features taken from the cancelled mod. The first one will give Tails a faster flight speed, and the second one will make the player spawn dust if they are fast enough. I may even make a mod that gives the characters new movesets idk, we'll have to see.

Despite my cancellation of the mod, it doesn't have to be the end of development. If you wanna resume development, then please let me know. I'd be happy to give the mod a new owner!

Returning in style, 3.0 is coming with many additions and changes (along with a few feature regressions).

Oh boy, this is a big one. I'll give you the good news first; 2.0 is finally out after delaying it for half a year. Here are the changes:

- The file has been converted from a wad to a pk3 to save space.
- Sonic's ability has been reworked again. How it works now is that you use the Swift Surge and then you are able to use two other abilities depending on if you press jump or roll. The Swift Stomp, a move where you are quickly sent downwards, is activated by pressing the roll key this way. The Swift Stream, a move where you are given a small amount of speed forwards, is activated by pressing the roll key this way. These moves all redirect Sonic's speed.
- Sonic can also now use a shield ability after using the Swift Surge.
- Knuckles no longer loses his speed when landing after a glide.
- Metal Sonic's ability has been reworked. Depending on your Z axis movement, it may launch you upwards (if you're falling quickly) or forwards (if you're rising quickly).
- Metal Sonic's hover now slowfalls for balancing reasons.
- There is no air cap except when bouncing off diagonal springs.
- The thrustfactor has been buffed from 4 to 4.5.
- You can now maintain your speed underwater.
- Other changes I forgot to keep track of.

Alright, here is the bad news; this project is discontinued due to lack of motivation. Don't be surprised if this update feels rushed or incomplete. Lack of motivation is also the reason that I took longer than I should've to release this big update. I wish I could've done more but I was getting tired of developing the project.
- Buffed the flight speed of Tails from 75 to 125.
- Organized the code better.
- Gave Metal Sonic his multiability feature back.
Hello there. I have posted yet another update. This one is bigger than 1.1, however, so let's get started with the changelogs!

- Renamed the Momentum Leap to Swift Surge.
- Renamed the Momentum Thrust to Power Thrust.
- Redid the bio for Metal Sonic to include the boost mode.
- Metal Sonic can no longer can use shield abilities.
- The character's base speed has been increased slightly from 30 to 32.
- Rebalanced the Swift Surge. The faster you're going, the less speed you will lose.
- Rebalanced the Power Thrust. You can no longer hover after using it.
- The abilities now scale with Super Sonic.
- Added new character select text for Sonic and Metal Sonic.
- Balanced the abilities of Sonic and Metal Sonic underwater.
