I think Spring Circuit and Sunset Beach quickly became classics as soon as they came out, just really polished layouts with good and clean visuals no-questions-asked.

Spring Raceway (Spring Circuit's remake) has lost a bit of the charm from the original, though.

A lot of my gripes are visual - the level is just less visually interesting, due to some landmarks being pushed away or removed, and some shadows from the rocky formations are inexplicably gone (like the one right after the 180º at the start), as well as the server advertisements which made the level pop more and feel less artificial. The music change also made the level feel a little less upbeat than before.

There's definitely improvements layout-wise, offroad cuts are a lot more accessible (lines to take offroad cuts felt a little awkward before), but the red spring panel jumps are less interesting than before. In Circuit's, they served a purpose by allowing the player to *extend* their drifts and get a red or a rainbow miniturbo, as well as serving as prime trapping spots in netgames, which is interesting due to risk-reward. In Raceway, they mostly serve as a way for a player to *start* a drift, get a blue or maybe a red miniturbo before releasing, and that's pretty much it. I also miss the long straightaways at the end from Circuit a lot more, they were just pure item slugfests, although just as much people complained about it being an item slugfest in netgames iirc, so maybe I'm wrong. Oh, and do look at the Discussion tab for some blindspots you could fix.

Given that both Spring Circuit and Raceway are both available, it still feels like a "two cakes" situation for me, but I believe Raceway could be improved further by taking cues from its predecessor.

The pack is still really good/5.

Hello, thank you for trying out my pack & providing me your feedback. I do apologize Raceway did not meet the same expectations as Circuit. However, I am happy that you like Circuit. Unfortunately, as time went on, I did not like the current state of Circuit. The map was very boring in my opinion and the layout could of been better, but what caused me to remake Circuit was that there were item odd issues. Also, the ending part was very lazy on my end with long straightways and while adding red spring panels did allow players to drift store, it didn't really fit. Finally, visuals are my weak suit which I need to work on. But nevertheless, your feedback is appreciated and I'll take it into consideration when I make Map 3. Perhaps once the third map is complete, I can let you test it and see what could be improved upon before release! Once again, thank you!

I think the fundamentals on display here are really great-- The texturework and visuals of each map are nice, the music is great, and there's nary a dull moment.

I think my only criticism is that the maps feel a bit "penned in", so to speak. There's either very planned offroad cut, wall, or deathpit. While it's not really a huge issue, it does make your maps feel a bit artificial. When someone takes a good route through the offroad and pulls ahead, it feels earned. When someone takes a super planned cut, it can feel a little cheaper to me.

I say, let your main road breathe! Let players fuck up and get shunted into the offroad a bit, let them take a less optimal route through the offroad, let them fall into a pit where there was once a fence! But hey, that's just my two cents. Overall, I think these maps are great as-is!

I'll keep this in mind for future maps! Thank you for the feedback, I greatly appreciate it!

Despite currently being a 1 map map pack, it already packs a punch, especially for being a first map in a sense. (Considering the fact this map uses mostly vanilla textures and i can barely even step foot on using the og GFZROCK LMAO)

I've played this earlier and all I can say is that it's super dengeki cool and you should play it for yourself!! Really fun, and it isn't too long either. Excited to see more of your creations.
