So what is banddercrawla?
BandderCrawla is an almost completely accurate recreation of the Crawla in lua in an attempt to help newcomers learn how basic enemy code works, or for mappers to use as a base for their own cool badnik!
While the srb2 wiki is a great resource, there is no denying that it isn't enough for some people, who may need a more visual, and direct approach to making badniks, due to how the wiki shows freeslotting objects for a more general purpose as opposed to enemies specifically.
Thats where BandderCrawla comes in to help those people out and give them a more visual, direct, and hands on approach!
It has comments to help describe what certain things do, and also has helpful links to some resources that may help out and make the making of the badnik easier!
This is just the basics, and is more of a base to start off of with your custom enemy, or a way for newcomers to get the feel of how this works, and i will not be getting very advanced here
-
Pk3 includes:
Lua file, with freeslots, states, and objects all defined and ready to go
Crawla sprites
-
If you decide to use this base for your own badnik, no credit is needed, as you did the work creating it, not me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
