sonic cd was released in 1993 the first debut of the peel out animation
while the naruto manga was released in 1999
so yeah the cd boy is right and i just found out that is the case

Showing features of a mod that you cannot release is flexing and even letting your friends have the mod and make speed running videos or showcasing Adventure Sonic 1.8C with someone else using Xtweaks. Why make videos of a mod you will absolutely never release? That’s literally flexing.

that's not flexing in my opinion.
 
I'd like to pitch in from my perspective: I see it as unintentional salt as I want XTweaks for the same reason I played Spicerunners with X: I just want base sonic to be able to go a bit faster and do his secondary run animation. Dark does it perfectly but that form is also a good bit too much power and I've never found some tutorial, directions or even mod work around to give me the result of just letting base X go a tiny bit faster and reach medium/dark run speed.

From my perspective, it is. It's not intentionally any of them trying to flex but when we already have the info it can't be released yet you've got so many videos all just showing it off it's the equivalent of walking around with something highly valuable that you yourself know others are interested in but such a thing is unattainable for anyone else. You could just keep the videos and info in a private space between only those who own it or even have the videos unlisted and share them with those who can actually engage with them but instead its like flaunting the treasure no one else can possess.

Consider it like this, that guy who dresses like vector on YT and how he silently flexes his massive home while not saying a single thing, only making sure the camera gets a wide and clean shot of each floor, his pool, and his large fridge. He says nothing himself but shows just how high on the ladder he is

I want to add for reference:
it's alot like the wait for the mod to release and this channel showing off a mix of videos or gifs posted in the discord. Of course in that scenario, you knew it was at least coming but here you have a confirmed no. Unrelated to the flex, back on the run, that video forever taunts me because it has everything I wanted out of X's run but I can only do that run as Dark sonic.

you can't really even say im flexing with that video here since i didn't even have the mod at that time, lol. (just wanted to drop that here)
but still in my opinion it's okay for them to upload videos without releasing it, yeah sure, it's kind of like flexing, but atleast they arent doing it intentionally right?
 
Is there a way to disable the custom music? it gets kinda annoying when you want to listen to the level music but the super/dark sonic theme interrupts it every thime.

You can always do "tunes -default" in the console until the possibility of that option being added comes to light. I agree though, it does get annoying.
