When verison 2.3 come outs will our progess save form 2.2

Nope. It also doesn't even make sense to "keep your progress" when a bunch of the levels will be different.

Mind you, the next major version won't be released for years.

Unfortunately you will have to loose your progress. The levels are going to be so different that your progress in 2.2 won't match what 2.3 has to offer.

Also the unlockables and their quotas might be radically changed.
