Must certainly do something bad because I get this error message all the time no matter what item / enemy I put in my map. :) Nothing happens but this error.

This should definitly be a sticky since this will happen to most beginners editing SRB2 maps. If no sticky, then where do I find the info?

Chances are, you're using the wrong configurations file. Make sure you have the one specifically for v2.0.

I did replace the configuration with the 2.0 ones. Still no luck. And I downloaded the latest SRB DoomBuilder too. Dunno what's wrong honnestly.

Jobro, What level does your unmodded game end at? If Castle Eggman then it's 1.09.4, if Eggrock then it's 2.0.

http://mb.srb2.org/showthread.php?t=30752 This topic has the current SRB2 DB configuration. Make sure you use that instead of the 1.09.4 SRB2 DB. I should really get oogaland to package that configuration instead of the 1.09.4 one, since that can confuse people.

Galber, there is an even easier way to tell what version you are on. You can tell which version your srb2 is by bringing up the console and type version and it will tell you which version you are running. If you are running 2.0.1 then use the srb2 updater linked on http://www.srb2.org/. The updater will NOT work on 1.09.4 .
