there is nothing to praise or encourage when the zone is LITERALLY just a flat room with some rings scattered about. Its like he doesn't know what the Torn World even IS. There was actual shit going on in there, with flying platforms and waterfalls going up and all sorts of things. Granted, you can't do sideways gravity in SRB2, but he could have done SOMETHING more than... well... absolutely NOTHING.

Get rid of the super form, and add platforming.

You're, in essence, restating the idea that it's possible to be critical without being harsh while throwing in a life story of yours (glad you're a person that understands the concept, though). Nobody said anything about criticism needing to be mean, and it's already been said that it's possible to be encouraging while delivering it.
It's not as "clear" that you made much of a contribution, but I see your point (claiming that I completely ignored your post makes you seem annoyed, so excuse me if I'm getting the wrong connotation).

And regarding this project: why a Super Sonic battle? Why not a cool platforming stage involving something like gravity puzzles?

This map is horrible in general. What's with all the empty space and the misused/misplaced rings? And the Super Sonic Sh1t? What the fuck is this? Oh and the boss, oh good lord...why did I waste my time watching that video. The boss is just a sprite replacement of the Egg Mobile, which is kind of a pathetically easy boss and in my opinion, does not fit well with the theme of the stage. Need some criticism? Ok. First, scrap the whole stage. Second, read the Wiki on how to map. Third and finally, make a map that is good.

You are taking ONE sentence out of many that I wrote there, and saying that it was useless of me to even say it because you had already said something similar. What does it matter? I was AGREEING with you, even if I didn't even catch that you had said that, as your post didn't make much sense to me in the first place. And what do you mean nobody said anything about criticism needing to be mean to be criticism? D00D64 implied that you have to bash him, and BZ4 implied that criticism is mean, although it's a battle of definitions more than anything else. Heck, even you suggested that when you said

There's no reason we should sugar-coat things instead of giving the harsh criticism that is needed o succeed in mapping. If the creator isn't going to take it, they shouldn't bother releasing maps here to begin with.
