There's a way to display which animation state are being used?

Hello, I'm making a Donkey Kong mod for SRB2, which I've been working on it for 3 years now, but I have a problem. I'm adding new animations to the character, like swimming or crouching, and I need a way to know which state is dislpaying the game in specific moments, mainly for trouble shooting reasons.

When I print the current state on the terminal, it prints a number instead of the name of the state.

Thank you in advice

This is happening because states are actually just numbers, if you need the name of one, there's a list on wiki.srb2.org/wiki/List_of_states

I don't recommend just using the number in an if statement for checking states because if the number is higher than 2500-ish, those are states you freeslotted, and will differ based on the addons loaded before yours.

I hadn't planned on using numbers instead of names, for the same reason you said.

A somewhat archaic solution I found was to write down the number of each state, even though I didn't know that the number where the freeslots start was from 2501.

Thx for your help!!
