Worms 2/Armageddon/World Party Worm - Small, yet mighty Worm jumps into the race.

After all those battles, it can get pretty tiring - especially if you've managed to not lose all that HP or drown. So, this one decided to hop in for some racing!

Worming Enhancements

  • The regular worm skin felt incomplete and more difficult to recognise the color, aside from the kart.
    • Now he has a recolorable health bar with a vertical gradient!
  • Since both skins utilize the same soundbank, there's now an extra sound for when an SPB is after you!
    • Thanks to Bartman3010 for the assistance on the .lua for this, as it puzzled me why it wouldn't work exactly as how I intended it...

Conversion to a Pack.

First, there was the Worm... now, a system that those games ran upon is in as well - Windows flies in with a computer of its' own. Experience the instability weight of the pre-2000 era!
  • Thread changed to an overall pack. Worms has not been updated, though it has been slipstreamed into a pack where you'll find both Worms and Windows, with LUA or without!
  • Both feature the SPB warning sound in their respective .lua versions.

A service pack arrives.

More versions of Windows are now available to race with!
  • XP is a balanced character (similiar to Knuckles) - if you got the right hardware, it won't give you up that easily.
  • Vista/7 are a bit heavier, but their maximum speed is also slightly increased. 7 did bring native TRIM support for SSDs, after all.
  • Similiar to Vista/7, 8.x/10 are also heavier, albeit focusing more on acceleration due to boot optimizations.
  • Windows Classic didn't escape unchanged - now balanced...

Gonna be honest with you TheOneGoofAli after having showcased classic windows then the pack itself, it's seriously great to have the generations of windows that I grew up with well except 95 in kart is just a real swell treat and hey, now Route Three-One has become their home track!

There's a worm in my LUA!

After all this time, I had noticed that the regular Worms skin had been using two different sounds to check and play respectively. This only occured in the TOGA pack itself, as individual ones do not have this issue, so I'm releasing a hotfix for it, as the rest of this update is unchanged - just the one .pk3 file. Apologies!
  • Now the "worms" skin properly checks if its' own sound isn't playing, not the Windows one!

Worming Hotfix

Seems that the SPB check had a typo for which sounds to check against for the regular Worms skin in the LUA, causing the wrong sound to repeat wildly. (Note that this only affected the full KCL pack.)
  • Now the SPB check should be correct for each skin. Damn you, typos!
  • Windows Classic also had an misalignment in one of the frames - that also has been fixed.

Service Pack 2

Whilst revisiting old versions of Office, I got reminded of the "assistants" that used to exist in Office pre-2003... and that led me to searching for the "agents" that had been utilized back in the day. If you remember BonziBuddy, the technology for the monkey started with those assistants!
New features characters! There wasn't a lot of frames to work with, so keep that in mind.

  • Straight from Rocket League, Octane is now available as a racer. Whilst boost orbs aren't available and the ability to jump is lost, it's still ready for a speedy game with 7 speed and 8 weight.

The Plumtastic Feature Pack

This update will apply after you apply the patch.
  • After a simple shitpost... Michael Rosen is made to be playable in SRB2Kart! Originally huge, he's been compressed down to not obscure, like, half the screen. Still, he's a bit bigger than an average racer. Frames were ripped from the HD Remaster of the poem compilations.
  • Of course, since he's old now, he's not exactly speedy, but his acceleration is somewhat better because of it. Above-average weight, he's ready to click to...

this pack looks really cool,but it would be way more cooler if you add windows 11 and peedy the parrot (bonzi buddy's friend and a ms agent.)!
 
Under the hood, 11 is just a glorified update to 10, so they're lumped together. Peedy, being a Parrot, doesn't have enough sprites for me to at least try to make it work - Bonzi Buddy at least is on a surfboard, so a static frame is fine there... not so for Peedy.

Service Pack 3

It's been that long since 1.3, huh. This isn't a mandatory update, however, most, if not all of the characters in this pack were given some attention - from icon changes (Worms, Windows) to use of the HIRES flag for some of the more larger characters (Robby and Michael Rosen were especially guilty of this!) to ease playing as them and so on.

As a bonus, I've included a special standalone version of Windows Classic - Windows Classic Plus that is powered by...
