I've watched all 26 episodes of MLP: FiM Season 1, somewhat enjoyed them, and yet I am not constantly going on about pony stuff.

So, in the rumoured episode, it reveals that the Elements of Harmony truly are just 6 Chaos Emeralds used to save the day when all else fails.

"Season 2 CONFIRMED for September 17th!"

Don't know if that's still subject to change but it's starting to seem pretty likely.
