Fly Cup is currently UNIMPLEMENTED. Anything related to Fly Cup can currently be found in Lost and Found with Standalone Maps.

The 2.4 Build!

Welcome to 2.4 racing!
Now with 2.4 Compatibility and some new maps (largely new battle maps, but to be fair I was hoping to do a larger "2.0" build but then Ring Racers 2.4 hit Release Candidate).

There is a bug that is encountered upon playing the Fly Cup in Grand Prix.

It is impossible to achieve a perfect score in the cup due to the Prison round being skipped despite counting as part of the final rank (no Prison rounds in the "completed rounds" list yet still says 0/10 prisons in the rank details section at the bottom).

In v2.4, you also cannot get an S-Rank, let alone qualify for the Special Stage on Intense or Vicious, due to the change in grading and qualifying criteria.

If you register an S-Rank while playing it on v2.3, it shows up there if you launch v2.4 despite that rank being unobtainable in v2.4 due to this bug.

Currently, there is no planned fix for this beyond "make more tracks". As mentioned in the patch notes, I didn't really expect Fly Cup to really be taken seriously at current due to it's WIP status. I do appreciate the feedback, but this is just a side effect of me wanting to semi-implement the cup for sake of organization until I can work up the motivation to finish more maps for it (I have been kind of on a mapping break and only just got back if at least to update my maps for 2.4).

TL;DR: Fly Cup is still WIP, so don't really take it seriously as a GP right now.

The "It Should Be Fixed" Update - Personal Update

To Put simply, this just fixes any issues that may have came up between RC1 and 2.4's official release. Some of the changes are as follows:
  • Fixed certain Tripwires from going infinitely down (whoops)
  • Reduced the amount of checkpoints across multiple tracks. Most have 1 maximum now due to their general size (Sealed Circuit has none due to how small it is anyway)
  • Removed Tripwires from springs in MEGA Null Space (Rewards in that top path are changed to reflect this. You do need...
