Welcome to...
Tails' Khaos Kontraption!
While everyone was having fun with the brilliant work that Dr. Eggman and his lab partner created, Tails decided to... have a little bit of fun with an add-on he can install to the karts' Kartridge ports. Who's the villain now?

This is the sequel mod to SRB2Khaos (which this mod will now replace, as surprise, this works in SRB2Kart...

It seems that giving a random item may not always work correctly (for example, if you are small, you will simply pass by)

edit: oh, this is already in issues

Wacky Textures doesn't seem to show up in List_Effects, nor can I seem to blacklist it...
And I don't know what causes this.

Universal Effects =/= Effects
It'd be hard to implement a blacklist feature for global effects, since that'd have to be an entirely different system, but I'll add that to my ever-growing to-do list for consideration.

For some reason in SRB2Kart, Sticky Slops likes to go into negatives on time remaining and stop effects from clearing. It even causes the mod to create question marks. Sticky Slopes will also act even when the is barely a slope or when it's not a slope relative to the ground around it by perception.

Think I know what the problem is, will be fixed in the next version.

I've seen a Mario 64 mod just like this one! (SM64 Chaos Edition) It applies a random effect every certain amount of time, creating ultimate chaos for your speedruns!
This Addon's Rating: ★★★★★

I had noticed some bugs while playing around with this mod.

Rewind and Position Swap do not change a player's lap counter and thus do not play nicely with sectioned courses. For example, if either effect puts the player behind a section line that they just crossed, passing the line again counts as a second "lap". In sectioned circuits, this causes the race to be unfinishable unless it happens on the final "regular" lap. Otherwise, section races can be finished faster than usual.

(Due to another bug, when the player crosses the end-of-section line a second time, the player remains 7th while everyone ahead each loses one place)

Certain effects that change a player's weight may cause infinite "Ring Sting" spinout that prevents the player from progressing unless something else overrides that spinout. It also prevents the "anti-grief detection" on that player from working properly.

CPU players will never try to respawn in this state, since it relies on the "anti-grief detection". Human players can hold Respawn in this state to respawn but will still maintain spinout. In certain courses, waiting long enough in this state may result in finishing the race during respawn (in v2.3, Insta-Item and Position Swap both reset the timer).
