I don't leak or edit addons, but every time I try to play multiplayer the server forcibly downloads like five billion custom unsanctioned addons, so I wonder if something shouldn't be done about that since the mods are apparently upset about it? It's annoying in general that I can't play online in any server without first waiting two weeks for the petabyte of random unwanted custom content to download. I would honestly appreciate some limits on the addons you can host on the MS instead of just finger-wagging at a contingent of the playerbase that's obviously going to keep leaking/modifying content anyway.

I kinda wish the game allowed you to maintain faster-than-normal speed while running, without allowing you to gain that speed unless you're rolling or jumping out of a roll.

I don't really like playing with most momentum mods I've found since I feel they tend to make rolling superfluous. If I can gain the same amount of speed running downhill as you do when rolling, then why would I restrict my controls by rolling if I can just run?

But with vanilla physics there's this really gross hard cap on speed that kicks in as soon as you start running after landing from a jump or if using a mod to uncurl. It just feels really bad, when playing, to lose all of your speed for seemingly no reason.

Guys this is from 2005 which was 20 years ago
This thread is literally pinned to the top of the SRB2 Discussion sub-forum.
It's meant to be constantly relevant.

Besides, forum etiquette doesn't care about the age of a thread. One adjacent thing it does think negatively of is replying to a thread that has been dead for a while with a pointless post. (AKA Necroposting) As long as you say something with value about the topic at hand, (and that's what people have been doing) it doesn't matter.

Since people are still suggesting here might aswell add to it, could 2.3 have more replayability? Because honestly that's what killed SRB2 for me, i mean sure you have multiplayer, but im on mobile soo..
Like for an example, a mission mode would be cool.

THIS is what we need dude, vanilla srb2 gets boring fast even with modded chars as you end up memorizing the layouts and how to deal with the special stages and it becomes "too easy, piece of cake!" that's also one of the reasons i'm so excited for the dsz2 and erz revamps along with rvz2, they have whole new layouts and so i can have an actual different experience. same goes with the bosses, when it comes to 2.2 they were always easy but after some time they become absolutely pathetic. (especially brak he gets destroyed in like a minute)

I think it would look better if skidding was disabled while stopping or turning around on ice.
While stopping? If you mean letting go of a directional input or something, then that can actually be disabled by toggling "Automatic Braking" in the Player Controls menu within Options.

As for turning around on ice, I don't understand why you'd want that. Stopping on ice is already difficult enough with skidding. If you didn't skid, the change in your momentum would be irritatingly minimal.

By stopping, I meant to say breaking, or any time you would skid on ice, don't skid. And skidding is just visual with a sound effect as far as I can tell, I didn't mean to suggest changing anything about momentum. I just think it doesn't make sense to make particle effects and a sound effect when breaking on ice or oil because there's so little friction.

Custom themes.
Let's say for example you wanted your OC in the SRB2MB logo or you wanted blue to be green. Well with custom themes you could do just that. All you have to do is upload a file to replace the SRB2MB Logo and choose the color hue for the website.
