Some guy said:
Making new enemies, levels, bosses, powerups, character obileties, more characters and new level music would be nice.
You could get an inspiration from Crash Bandicoot and Neo Sonic Universe (Get it at

All of that requires a vast amount of work. Let's say a new badnik has... 3 frames of animation for walking. 3 frames of animation times 8 directions is 24 frames.
Now he has two frames of animation for his attack. That's another 16 frames. That's 40 drawings for 1 enemy with minimal animation. Crawlas have something like 10 frames of animation for their movement (80 total) because of their tank treads moving.
That's not even coding how this badnik moves or behaves.
So stop and think how much work a new badnik or a new boss requires.
And Music? As far as I remember SRB2's entire soundtrack is done, and has been for years now. The only reason it's not included in the demo, is because out of SRB2's 30-40mb filesize, 25mb of that is taken up by music
alone. (Case in Point: a441's "SRB2 Lite", which is SRB2 minus all the digital music, is 7mb)
If they included every SRB2 song within these demos, we could probably expect 60-70mb, and not too many free sites would be willing to host. SRB2's had trouble in the past already as it is finding a place that'll keep a 35mb file up.
