For the biggest part of the update, Koraidon has been completely redone with an improved design way better than the previous design. He might've consumed a lot of Proteins but it was worth it! Making Palkia last update REALLY changed my ways of making characters...

Spinarak Takeover (SECOND REBRAND)

Previously known as Stapy's Mons: Reg R. This addon has now been rebranded to String Spit Pack! This is a relatively small update and is actually Part 2 of v2.3's release! (or act like v2.3 never existed and v2.4 was just one full update!)

I guess with the rebrand name, this could make Spinarak the main character of the pack.

The Glistening

This very small update mainly adds in a new outline for Spinarak to adapt with my current artstyle, as well as adding in missing pixels for the back sprite which I forgot to do 5 months ago in his resprite.

View attachment 176016This update adds in Ariados (the evolved form of Spinarak) as a playable driver. He is actually the same Spinarak from the pack but from a different timeline!

He uses Motobug's stats (S2-W5) and shares the exact same rival set as Spinarak's. No other character uses Ariados as a rival.

All Returners Fully Resprited!

This major update adds in resprites of the remaining returners from my SRB2Kart addon that didn't get the needed resprites in a year. These resprites are higher quality and way more appealing.

While Spinarak and Salamence already had their resprites months ago in separate updates, This update finally adds in resprites of all Tatsugiri, Scatterbug, Yanma, and Samurott.

Introducing PokéFollowers!

You've seen Spinarak and Tatsugiri on their karts before but have you seen them off their karts? Well now you have with the new update adding in follower forms of both Spinarak and Tatsugiri!

Find them in the newly added "StringSpit" follower category and choose one of the two to race alongside you! Spinarak hops in place while Tatsugiri floats.

Followers are only available in the full pack! I do plan to add more followers of other drivers in the future.

This update adds in Mega Tatsugiri into the pack. Being the first ever kartless character I've made in any of my Ring Racers packs. He shares the exact same stats as his base form.

Ever since Mega Tatsugiri was leaked, I promised myself that I will sprite it into Ring Racers the moment it's revealed regardless of the design and this was the result.

Some small changes before the new year

This is just a very small update I wanted to do for this pack before the new years come.

- Fixed coloration on Spinarak's turn sprites (this was there for a while actually, but I wasn't bothered to fix it until now)

- Samurott now has no visible mouth on his neutral sprites (did this since his default color hides his mouth anyways)

- Palkia has a new lose.ogg sound

- Ariados now has a completely different rival set (unlike Spinarak, I don't use Ariados all the time)

This update adds in Black Kyurem into the pack, alongside with a lot of changes to the pack as well.

CHANGES:
- Spinarak and Tatsugiri now have 6 custom dialog icons! In which I may use in some of my custom maps as well.
-- Spinarak already had a single dialog icon used only in Stapler Maps' Route Gate zone.

NOTE: Individual file downloads will be removed next update since I'm starting to get tired of having to maintain two copies of the same characters at the same time and I want all characters in the pack to be used equally.

When the update rolls: However, I may accept Discord DMs on requests for individual files.

This patch gives an update to Spinarak's sprites, as well as replacing the Spinarak follower with the Spinarak that appears in my upcoming first vanilla SRB2 addon, which has more animations than ever!

As you can notice: Spinarak no longer has a pixel of shine on his legs, and his lookback sprites have changed a lot. Finally, Spinarak no longer looks like he's on a chokehold in this...

A little hotfix

Of course expected from a rather large update, this update has been given a hotfix.

But fortunately, a very little amount of problems were found and patched up.

Notable Changes:
- Patched up two miscolored pixels in Spinarak's Wanted icon (in which these two were apparently there ever since the resprite from almost 1 year ago...)
- Patched up a miscolored pixel in Tatsugiri's side-sprites and both Tatsugiri's rank icons.
- Altered Sunkern's spinout...
