I had an interesting idea this morning, but I completely forgot it at noon. Ah well, it was a really good idea, maybe I'll remember it.

Hey, I just remembered! You know how people hate SA mode 'round here? Well, wouldn't it be possible to write a script in a text lump that sets homing and lightdash on, then, in the level header, you would activate that script so that you could play in whatever mode you wanted while still being able to use homing and lightdash?

I didn't say put Sonic in Lyoko! (although I'm considering making a match level)
I was giving an example on how levels for Quest for Infinity has multiple pathways and level exits. No one could really get tired of that
I know what you said, sonic260. I'm not blind, man. What happened was I thought of Quest for Infinity, then I thought of SRB2, then I thought of Sonic in Lyoko. Yes, my mind wanders off on rabbit trails sometimes. But hey, if no one's mind ever wandered, then creativity would not exist.

P.S. If you make a Lyoko sector, let me know. That'd be the best match level ever. Especially if it was Sector 5.

I think I'll start with the forest since its my favorite. If I ever make another map, I could put 5 enterable way towers

ooh. OR.... you could make a mini-lyoko, and have entering the towers be what switches sectors. Either way, we better get back on topic before it gets locked, sonic260.

Yeah that'll definitly help the mouselookers

It still lags a lot on OpenGL for me, but that may be because my video card died. But even in Software mode, I get 1 frame per second when I'm in Wave Ocean. I have to slowly look behind me to get the lag gone.

I also kept dying in Dusty Desert. The quicksand was hard, but that wasn't the problem. I'm guessing lag is to blame, but it's really not that bad in this level.

Yeah Dusty Desert is a very good level.

I can´t wait to see White Acropolis or Crisis City!

I know that HYPER SONILDOW are going to do this mod cool, cool and cool!

OK (back to the multiple paths thing) if I add more paths to the levels, then wouldn't that lagg the level some more?

If u put in one path though then u will be bored because it has only one way. Look at SA, it has two ways to go in each of sonic's zones for each level even if its in the same place e.g lost world different tiles, speed highway different road things, windy valley different paths to the windy hill bit with the spring.
Face it, if you have one way to go it's boring but if you have different ways then there's more to explore and it makes it more interesting!

Ok now I just tried wave ocean pt1 in software without putting anything and it lagged..........badly. When I tried putting more paths in wave ocean mach speed, all the items were not working because the huge level and yeah you can put the wad on youtube, and could you please give credit to my bud SilverESP. shes (Its FIXED SilverESP ^^) the one that gave the sounds, RedFire gave me ideas to the mod and Conner helped me to get loops in.
I think im going to edit dusty desert and wave ocean pt 2.

EDIT: Now that I've looked at the video, hmm... not bad. Can't wait to see the video with wave ocean levels and dusty desert! ;)
