Stepfather charged with 2 year old's death

Dateline: Chattanooga, Tennessee

According to the Associated Press & the Chattanooga Times-Free Press, A Chattanooga man was arrested on Friday for the death of 2 year old Christopher Loines.

Police say Justin Loines took his 2 year old stepson's lifeless to a local hospital with a report that he fell off a 1 foot tall plastic picnic table at a local Chattanooga trailer park.

The medical examiner says that the boy showed signs of Trauma & had bruises on his face & police arrested the stepfather.

Loines' trial was delayed for an unknown reason & police say the mother, Ashleigh Loines was at work & Loines was the only one with the child at the time.

Neighbors & friends say that he would never do something like this & was always good to his stepson.

I've heard stories before about fathers/stepfathers doing horrible things to their young children, and people close to them trying to deny it. I'd have to know more details, but I bet what really happened was that the man was under a lot of stress, something his stepson did pushed him over the edge and he snapped, then he panicked and tried to hide what he'd done.

I was in Florida one day and I watched the news, a person who had a car ran over a little(3) kid.

Something bad happens every-day.

I feel sad for the 2-year old. :-(

The Medical Examiner says that the child had cuts and bruises on his face & had 2 Skull fractures meaning he may have been beaten to death.

Hmm, its never a good day when you hear a 2 year old may have been beaten to death.
But you never know, the kid might have just fell down some stairs or something.

If he did, It would be stairs from the guy's front porch or fell down the back door's stairs but he didn't if he was either beaten or he really did fall of that picnic table.

I may need some answers of my own if I can't obtain any confidental info.
