Startmovie command

Yeah I have a question about the startmovie command in SRB2, can the video be uploaded on websites and can the command be used in netgames?

STARTMOVIE AND STOPMOVIE actually don't create movies - they simply take screenshots every frame. It's up to you to take those screenshots and create an aniGIF/movie out of them, at which point you can then upload it to something like YouTube.

Yes, you can use it in netgames.

Thanks Spazzo I know it takes a picture of every frame every second which would equal 35 screenshots per second.

It will take screenshots at whatever framerate the game is playing (remember this command causes a lot of lag). I once got a movie at just 6FPS x_X

is ther a command that records sound? Or do I have to use Hypercam/Fraps.

no command for that, no practical solution. You're better off using Fraps.

It's actually not so bad if you record in 320x200.

but still i wouldnt do start/stop movie. i tried doing one and it fill up almost all of my 2GB jump drive!
