Every game i come up with is self copyrighted
wow, this is like 2.2.14-2.0 [confusing i know]
Not copyright issues, crediting issuesI find it crazy that copyright problems are an issue in fangames at this point.
I remember an internet where everyone did what they wanted.
Yea, I have it.I'm not entirely sure if this is correct, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Pipe Towers Zone remake can be found here: https://mb.srb2.org/addons/v1-4-pipe-towers-zone-revamped.289/
I believe Many Minor Tweaks or whatever it's called. It also adds a super button. Is there a mod that adds the shield button back?
i uploaded the v2.2.14 installer on internet archive hereSomething I've had in the back of my head for a bit now: I can understand replacing the official download links to 2.2.14 with the 2.2.15 ones since that's the most up to date version, but is there a reason why 2.2.14 seems to not be available at all? I've tried looking around for a working link, even going so far as to use the Wayback Machine to see if one of the old links would work on that but nothing seems to have been archived. 2.2.14 had some pretty significant differences from 2.2.15 so my inner preservationist would like to see it preserved in some form.
this is kinda explained in the original post of this threadbut is there a reason why 2.2.14 seems to not be available at all?

SRB 2 V 2214 Installer : Sonic Team Junior : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive
Since in the 2.2.15 post they stated that 2.2.14 will no longer be available to download, I decided to put the installer for 2.2.14 here, so it doesn't become...archive.org
Not at all, SRB2 runs on a 2003 version of Doom Legacy. It is basically the only major Doom-related game to be doing this to my knowledge. This runs on a port of gz doom right? I feel like someone could backwards engineer the two versions and find what works and what doesn't like GZ Doom. I also feel like more volunteers and beta testers would be needed. One last thing ill add, and you can quote this:
"Don't be like Graf Zahl"
Huh... Perhaps using a port or a fork of gz or even zandoom might work... It's fun to experiment and see if it runs like butter or blows up like oil!Not at all, SRB2 runs on a 2003 version of Doom Legacy. It is basically the only major Doom-related game to be doing this to my knowledge.
SRB2 is built on 20+ years of hacks, it really is not possible to use a port or a fork. You'd have to start from scratch.Huh... Perhaps using a port or a fork of gz or even zandoom might work... It's fun to experiment and see if it runs like butter or blows up like oil!
20 years is a bit long but it's still holding I guess. It would be interesting to see someone remake this in zandoom/LZ/GZ. Imagine that. Sonic vs hell.SRB2 is built on 20+ years of hacks, it really is not possible to use a port or a fork. You'd have to start from scratch.
