SRB2 started loading up wrong one day for some reason

Recently my app has been loading up like this every single time, I have no idea what to do. If I have to reinstall the game, how can I do it so that I don't lose all my player data and mods?

For mods, just take everything out of the addons folder and put it somewhere where you can access it later so that you can transfer the files back when you re-install. As for savedata, I don't know exactly how SRB2 retains its data, but I know theres several .dat files in the main folder that could be a step in the right direction. I can't tell you if saving those would work, though. Maybe instead of uninstalling your current SRB2, just install another in a different folder? It's been a while since I've installed it, so IDK if you can do that though.

How do I change that if I can hardly even see the screen?

It's been fixed, sort of. I can get it to work if I tweak it or turn off then turn on fullscreen in settings, but I still have to do this to fix the screen every time I boot up the game now

Oh, did you try doing a fullscreen hotkey and then undoing that? Like F11 or like Alt + Enter? The game at least LOADS right?

for keeping save data, just take all .dat, .cfg (if you know it's not a settings issue), and .ssg (individual singleplayer saves) files into a new folder, reinstall into SRB2 2.2 (or what you named the folder), then put it back.

If you move the window on startup, it may do that.
but my testing and experience only goes so far.
i've experienced the same thing (i use windowed 1080p because i can control volume without causing temporary display issues on my external monitor), and when i move the window, it sometimes moves to the bottom.
It could also be a temporary issue because of an OS update, but i'm also using windows 11, so maybe it's a DPI issue? (you'll have to check your settings for that)

this happened the first day i loaded it up, just go in fullscreen then go out of fullscreen, or just stay in fullscreen.
