CUSTOM BOSS REMOVED! *Due to that it was bugging up ZONES 1,2,3, and 4.*


Another error has just took out ZONE 6-2, saying that I dont have the right MB. *I just got rid of a 700+MB promgram...-_-.* It may be a bug, so for now, Zone 6-2 is very short.


`Zone 6-3 is another egg slimer, well 4... and they teleport too, so it may lead to a long battle. * It only took me 1:30 during my testing*

And why is there 4? well, he made a device that clones himslef and his things he rides. *Same goes for Zone 3-3*
 
Sounds like you got a handful of thread bugs AND level bugs yourself. :lol:

Anyways, too big for Software, and it doesn't look interesting, sorry. :/

You should see Thepool.wad on forum of chaos. I did half of it.

I'm better at adding details, instead of making bases. But I'll try!
 
I mgiht make a NIGHTS level as a unlockable, lemme just look in the main file of SRB2. *a.k.a IWAD*

The demo review.

You played my level so I played yours so heres the review, I know it's not finished but some levels were, so here is what I think.

Difficulty/Challenge: 6.0: There is some hard aspects of this but it only comes from the virtually impossible platforming, or the get 700 ring special stages, otherwise it's not very hard.
Level Design: 5.5: Too many times did I find myself running around in what seemed like a giant box, in some levels namely the second one, I found myself running around in an oversized maze, just to find out that the factory had the exit sign, some acts were way too uninspired, crisis ship act 2 feels like a much speed zone from next gen, but in reality it takes too long to go though.
Problems/Glitches: 4.0: The more problems the lower the score, some missing textures, twitchy walls, and wierd texture pop up, as well as the retina numbing nextures found in casino carnival, the levels are overspacy, missing bosses, and the giant box feeling.
Oringinality/Cool Stuff: 4.5: Some intresting textures causing some feeling in the box like level disign, some intresting platforming, the stairs were cool, like the hud, some intresting level designing in spots, the bouncing on enemies in the mine zones boss was fun.
Individual levels: 5.0 (4.9)
Emerald hill zone 1: 5.5: Cool water, underwater doors.
Emerald hill zone 2: 3.5: Box-like maze.
Emerald hill zone 3: 2.5: No boss, decent arena.
Metal maze zone 1: 5.0: Better looking box-like maze.
Metal maze zone 2: 3.0: Short, slime, stuff.
Metal maze zone 3: 3.5: Bouncy, still no boss.
Leaf forest zone 1: 6.0: Stairs, wood, jungle, pit.
Leaf forest zone 2: 6.5: Longer, wood, jungle, pit, no stairs.
Leaf forest zone 3: 3.0: I forgot about it, still no boss.
Casino carnival zone 1: 6.0: Seizures
Casino carnival zone 2: 6.0: Recoved a bit, but whats with these springs.
Casino carnical zone 3: 7.5: A boss.
Crisis ship zone 1: 4.0: Missing textures.
Crisis ship zone 2: 4.5: Missing effort.
Crisis ship zone 3: 7.5: Missing...Wait missing nothing.
Darkness city zone 1: 5.0: City, Giant ring, Balance beam ave.
Nothing else I wanna rate.

Overall: 5.0: Too unispired, the whole thing feels like one emotionless blob, wheres the thrill, that's what sonic games are all about, nothing against you, but your strive too make 20 levels, has left you with 5 levels, in need of love and attention, I played a lot of level packs, and this one just seems to be missing something, something that most level packs have.

So that's the review, I don't hate what you have so far, it just feels too imcomplete, even in those completed levels. I hope it serves at constructive critisism, please don't hate me after this, just wanted to tell you what I thought, not to flame you or your level pack.
 
Ummm.. for the bosses, there was a bug, in my next release, the boss bug was fixed.

In my next release, this be up to Zone 7-1.


Also, did you play in software? There is nothing I can do about the software bugs, I mainly use OpenGL, hardly any bugs appear.


And I checked, there are no misisng textures.

Pretty much that the custom boss I made had a bug that removes/affect the other bosses,This has been fixed, which will be the next release.
 
Sonic x8000 i like the wad very much sorry if i insult your wad in any way but i/we would like you to halt this software problem for us:

you have huge, massive sectors if you can shorten the size of them, that will stop software bug number 1. This happens when software mode has a limited view range but you have expanded the view range by to far. (Try to keep it in between 3000 to 7000 i think?)

Once i find more i will post but i think that is the main bug you should be fixing, i mean you have great potential in you i think before finishing the wad itself i think you should iron out most of the bugs and then your wad could have a great and bright future
 
New scores.

You made a new version, all the old ratings will be displayed, and the new ones as well, with a short description why.

D/C: 6.0-6.5: Some new stuff in darkness city makes it a bit harder.
L/D: 5.5-5.5: Not much change, same kindoff thing as before.
P/G: 4.0-5.5: Some problems fix, still has some bugs.
O/C: 4.5-5.5: Some intresting bots, and darkness city, love the boss music, who knew that the sonic 2 boss theme could sound so good.
I/L: 5.0-6.0: Some new stuff.
Scores improved:
EHZ3: 7.5: Has a boss.
MMZ3: 7.5: Boss.
LFZ3: 7.5: Boss.
CSZ1: 5.5: I can see clearly now the glitch is gone.
DCZ1: 6.0: Some intresting things here.
DCZ2: 6.0: Didn't see much, too hard, got lazy.
DCZ3: 7.0: Nice teleporting boss, to hard to hit, sometimes the random teleporting makes him stay in the same spot for a while.
Overall: 5.0-5.8: Some decent changes made it better.

That's the new scores, some nice changes helped it's score.

If there's HOM appearing in Software, your sectors are too big.

You know, if you wanted custom bosses like bosses you made yourself, and not just clones, just different bosses, I can see what I can do about that, I already had some Eggman bosses drawn out.

NOTE: I do not know how to fix the software bugs! I tryed but I just can't fix them!
 
Well, I don't know how to add pictures saved on my desktop onto the forums directly, how do I do that, or should I just send it by e-mail?

Note: These are completely hand-drawn, I don't know if I can sprite it into those Eggman things we know today on SRB2.
