What do you think O_MAP45M is there for, anyway? ;)
To add incentive to visit your site and download all the OGG files that you have available? Perhaps since they fit the SRB2 style fairly well and therefore make good music to accompany levels (with all due credit given, of course), or perhaps since they're typically very good renditions (though Flash Man's Theme needs bass, badly)?
Hrmm... random thought, but I wonder what SRB2 music would sound like if I ran it through DOOM II's synth (ya know, the one they used from Commander Keen 4 up until Quake used CD music)?... Just experimenting with Dosbox, is all. Shame DOOM runs slow as molasses on it when Legacy and ZDOOM run well, but, eh, whatever, there'll be a fix for it... somewhere.

The problem with that trick is you can stand on the 1 fracunit wide floor, which looks like it might be a real problem in akirahedgehog's level, letting you get to places you shouldn't be able to go. You can make that floor a conveyor belt, but then you have the conveyor belt slowing things down.

That's why I recommend simply using an FOF around the outside. If the rings, enemies, and players are not above the FOF most of the time, it won't be a problem.
Instead of an FOF, I was suggesting that it be simply an aligned-up texture that you only see from the outside. Nothing to stand on, nothing to lag the game. The only problem would be the pain-in-the-neck to implement it.
