Somersault double jump

I'm working on a character mod that does a somersault when performing a double jump. Do I have to use Lua? If so, what do I do?

What do you mean Somersault?
If you mean that your character's jump does not damage enemies, but if you time it well, pressing jump again mid-air temporary curls him...

Well, then, that's just Amy's Twinspin ability! On your character's S_SKIN lump, put ability = CA_TWINSPIN.
