Some questions in TGF (if any1 uses it here)

okay... I just needed some help there, um...

I will maybe never get used to MMF. It's so... confusing. I've gotten so used to TGF and had barely any errors with it that MMF seems, like, impossible to learn. Plus, you can't open MMF games in TGF, so if you want to switch em' about, you'll have to continue on MMF permenatly.

How do people get used to that "Click on object and drag into field" mode of building levels. If there is a patch for MMF that'll make it simple, it'll be news to me. Very GOOD news to me.

It's like switching from third person to first person in SRB2: It's hard to learn, but good that you do. Not that I ever will. :|

Anytime I want to play SRB2 in first person view, my mom always tells me to switch to 3rd person because she says I'll get motion sickness.
:roll: :|

Playing SRB2 in first-person mode isn't hard... I'm surprised somebody claims it is.

I mean, outside of knowing when you're spinning or not...

No, I mean when you've learned to play in third person so well that you can kick most people's butts using it.
I've had experiences where I could fire a single shot and hit a running Sonic (though Thokking Sonic is much harder and often requires several shots :()
First person is better because your turning and aiming ability is unaffected by lag and you can see exactly where you're shooting, etc. But when you've been playing in third person all your life like I have, it's kinda hard to switch.
And I severly hate first person, by the way. I'm thinking of forcing third person for all of SPMoves except for Eggman. Because Eggman always uses first person. :lol: I have a ton of special cases for that Eggman, to make him bigger then any other player and shoot missiles and have three jets and such... I could also make him be in third person with the camera even farther away then usual so you can see around his fat Eggmobile. :roll:

what does this have to do with getting used to MMF's crazy interface?

MMF = First person
TGF = Third person

I am sure you can use first person to it's full extent, givin the time and effort required. I learned to use TGF first myself, but a project someone needed help with required me to switch to MMF and I never went back.
Hot spots were the hardest thing for me to find in MMF. :roll:

I have seperate binds for each of the views so I can have the bind change the chasecam and alter mouselook settings at the same time. Playing in third person when I can look up and down drives me crazy.

Heck no. Just because you can't play well with it doesn't mean you should force people to use the other option. >:\

It's not because I can't play it well. It's because it sucks and is completely against the Sonic-style of gameplay. :| Just because you're a doom fan doesn't mean you need to have ringslingers and shotguns all the time.

It may not be ordinary, but it's still a funky feature, and one I'd prefer NOT to be removed considering I use it quite frequently. Playing a 3D game based on shooting whatever, be it rings or a BFG9000 (or that sexy Gravity Gun... *drool*), in third-person just doesn't give you the same amount of control over your shots.

Not because I'm a DOOM fan. :P

I told you: Unless you actually turn ringslinger on, the only ones who will "shoot" will be Fox and Eggman. Without having a ringslinger as your "main weapon", there will be no need for first person other then the nostaloegic value.
Yay for italic spelling!

Nostaloegic?...

It's got nothing to do with nostalgia. I just like playing in FP mode now and then. Is it a crime to LIKE doing that?

Yes. Now I must kill you with this very large and oversized Megaman-style buster gun. Hmm... I dunno, maybe I can make it so you annoyingly have to hold a button down to turn off the chasecam?... :D
