So this is the origin point for the conflict between the two message boards, the reason for the split. You screwed them over hard enough for them to become a separate faction, expecting them to just find a new scripter out of nowhere with the language barrier in the way. They're not just some lowly punks either, there are YT content makers with pretty big following considering the size of the SRB2 community among them.
This is your 3rd screw-up I've witnessed in the short span. The 1st being the treatment of GoldenShine, and the 2nd being the Sapheros mess & the way you kicked Mystic out non-chalantly without investigating his claims, an action a kid diddler would absolutely do to defend other kid diddlers.
And what I've learned from observing other fandoms regarding the 2nd screw-up in particular, is that kid diddlers are usually not alone. They are usually in groups, so his claims should have rang the alarm bells in your heads immediately. Guess not, that leaves me with the suspicion that members of Sapheros' ring are not only still in the community, but in positions of power. The thought alone should terrify you.
So let me be blunt. If you truly give a flip about this place, you would not only seek to not escalate this farce any further from here, that includes taking any lapdogs of yours out of the faces of the WS community, you would reinvestigate the claims made by people like Mystic even if it came at the cost of the SRB2 community ceasing to exist in the form it is today. I will judge whether I want anything to do with you, and any procedures I feel the need to use against you in case you are dumb enough to come after me, a confirmed paranoid person, based on that.
Let this be the last post I need to write about this, it's about time for both you & them to realize that your views on fair use are irreconcilable now, and move on as separate entities from here on.

Are you sure you're making the point you think you're making? Because I feel like whatever information you're operating on is far from the actual source. Here is the actual staff log from back when that happened.
I'd reflect that same ban in a heartbeat though, we don't need people like this around the community.
As for kicking out Mystic, who are you suggesting actually did this? Because it was not any of the current staff: It was actually Prime 2.0.
You can read everything he had to say about it here. This man isn't even on staff anymore himself. I don't believe for a moment he was covering for anyone, but that point still stands.

The claims Mystic made were investigated as much as possible, and they were found to be utterly baseless :V
As always, if you have any actual evidence, please send it our way. No staff member is immune; tenure is meaningless. We have kicked multiple staff members off the team for things much less severe than abusing kids; you can imagine how much more seriously we'd take that.
But if you don't have any evidence, it's probably best not to stir the pot with what's gossip at best.
I'm trying to figure out where you got your info -- because some of the above messages are public logs you totally could have searched up yourself. All I can assume is you fell for a lie without bothering to fact check, because this stuff couldn't be more inaccurate to the way things actually played out. You might want to consider approaching all this stuff from a new angle.

Only thing I needed to hear from you was that you became staff after that mess, which means that like Frostiikin in this thread, you have nothing to do with the first two screw-ups in particular. Doesn't really change the fact they happened and made me very suspicious of the management, but at least you didn't pounce at me like I expected you to.
As for GoldenShine (if I remember his name correctly), he was the guy that got chastised throughout the early years of his most well-known project, SMS, by Mystic and his cadre. The old guard was the one to start that nonsense, thankfully GoldenShine still persevered and that mod got a glorious final release if I recall.
As for the post's aggressive tone, I am a very cynical & distrustful individual, so I naturally took the words of management with skepticism. This butting of heads was inevitable in that sense, because if I feel like I'm in a position where I have a decent chance of getting backstabbed, I prefer to go out on my own terms. That's the unfortunate part about this, doesn't help that the YT content maker that's probably to credit for the traffic my first mod has gotten what little it may be, became part of the dispute between the two forums, leading me on a collision course with you.
But like I said, I play my chips according to how the situation will develop. You showed discretion in your response, my turn to do the same.
Actually, I kinda do in some sense -- if my active attempts to holding them accountable for those things is to be considered -- have a lot to do with those things. I've been around the community since 2010, and I'd butted heads with who we call "the old guard" colloquially (Mystic, Prime 2.0, and Rob) quite frequently. I didn't have to be on staff to do that; I'd been calling out their poor leadership of the community for some time.
Like, things I was angry and vocal at them about in the past include a lot of things I'm sure you'd be just as concerned about as well:
- Pushing around modders who were just trying to do their own thing because they didn't particularly enjoy it.
- Making mean-spirited content directly to clown on what were ultimately just little kids trying to learn modding. (Or in some cases people with known mental disabilities.)
- Constantly chatting about porn and lolicon around children. (This was especially bad in the IRC era)
- Hosting a literal porn forum on the MB here, which was "private" but they invited a bunch of minors anyways. (why did they think this was okay????)
- Letting several known sexual predators stick around the community because they were friends with them.
They may have taken care of Sapheros responsibly, but there were others who needed to go as well and they either dragged their feet on it and did it reluctantly after being pressured to do so (again, I specifically had to pressure them to remote JTE from their own ranks), or us current staff had to do it after the old guard was out of the picture.
I don't blame anyone for being suspicious of a management team after those things if you weren't around paying close attention to what happened in 2020.
As an offer of proof on this, here are Mystic and Rob's actual forum ban reasons (these were written by me and some of the current staff). I'd include Prime's, but it talked about something else and isn't really relevant here.
No one on the current staff -- or the dev team, for that matter -- is happy with the way the community was being ran pre-2020 or so. Most of us grew up in it through the absolute worst of it. Change is hard to make when people like Rob/Prime/Mystic would always try to aggressively strongarm you away from doing it, though.
Yeah, I thought you might be referring to that, but it made no sense because that is one of the fundamental reasons the staff who did that got removed -- by the existing staff, I might add. Haven't you noticed how much the community has changed since then? I've personally worked really hard to make the community less judgmental, both by setting a good example and also by getting rid of the quality barrier that existed in submissions before (though this improvement wasn't only my idea). Again, an offer of proof, here is my announcement I made on the discord regarding this.
Understandable. I just personally think if you're gonna be so skeptical of us, you should extend a little of that towards your friends from your other community as well, because uhh.... I've seen some wack-ass statements come out of some of their mouths -- stuff with no basis in reality. I assume that's why you're here with some of these impressions in the first place.
All of the current staff are completely approachable and down to share any info or receipts or talk about any problems you might have. Like, I assure you that if you approach us in good faith about something you or someone else has against us, we're not gonna bite.
Speaking of which, got any of that evidence regarding Mystic's accusations that you brought up?

I know the WS community has had a long run-in & grudge with yours, so I do have to do more digging on them as well. You'd think that they would have had the foresight to not put their eggs in one basket when it came to scripting in the first place. Perhaps they were protected by a member of the old administration that isn't there anymore so they never thought they'd need another scripter.
They are not my friends by any means, I only sided them because I expected worse from you. What I much prefer is for this to cool down because newcomers aren't going to benefit from this drama. That, and I don't want a repeat of the SMBX community splitting, because that was apparently a thing.
Regarding Mystic's allegations, I'll definitely consider digging further. He could have been projecting for all we know, which presents a new possibility of this trio being linked to Sapheros all along. Like I said, kid diddlers do not come alone, they will usually defend each other to the bone. They could have kicked Sapheros to the curb to cover their tracks for all we know. JTE could be linked as well, why else would they be reluctant to remove him from power?
Honestly, the stuff regarding the Trio should be its own thread instead of being posted here. I should have done that in the first place instead of getting in your face about it... no, I should have sought to bust Mystic back then when I WAS AROUND TO SEE HIS FACE. But no, I kept this inside of me for years on end, ruining everything including my relations to everyone else here because I thought nobody was going to give a flying flip about what I had to say. I trusted no one, and now blame myself for it.
