Is pillow shading a punishable offense? It does have a rare usefulness.

Indeed, but otherwise it just looks bad compared to other types of shading.

Indeed, but otherwise it just looks bad compared to other types of shading.

I use both regular and pillow shading in a ton of my sprites, and nobody has yet to complain.

I would shade it (thank you torgo for the link, but I already know how) but the palette doesnt have any shades of the yellowish-orange

So, just use yellow for the more yellowish parts and orange for the more orangish parts.

ok....i took the sprite in your avatar and shaded it:

this is how i usually shade my sprites so they dont look like too edgy

oh, i also changed the eyes, they where just weird xD

still are >_>, make them smaller, it looks like he's on drugs

Woah that looks good, but I think there is something about the outline of the eyes.... i fixed it in paint =)

the first is the non shaded, then the shaded, then the kiro version

(oh and the reason the eyes are like that, is because shinxes have 2 rings in their eyes, but yeah I like yours better =) )
