What part of 'SRB2 History' don't you understand?
I'll go first:
my knowledge of SRB2's old music:

all tracks are in 44.1hz sample rate, but are heavily compressed, so it doesn't sound good. but did you know that specifically the Metal Sonic Race is 22.1khz?
I also know the exact libvorbis version (the .dll that helps programs understand and make .ogg files) that was used to make them.
for example, ERZ2 2.1 was made with ogg vorbis version 1.0 Release Candidate 3 (released around December 2001).

I won't put it all here, but yeah, I'm definitely an srb2 and tech nerd.:dramahog:
if you got any oddly specific, nerdy, or otherwise unique knowledge about any version of SRB2, SRB2Kart, Ring Racers, SRB2 Persona, etc., or any addons, please share it here!:wow:

i found out about this a few years ago, but haven't tested it myself: if one attempts to kick other players in netgames without being an admin or the server host, they get kicked instead

If you jump frame-perfectly out of Knuckles' glide brace animation (NOT the normal brace where you let go of jump) on the first possible frame, you can cancel the massive slowdown he usually gets.

I also found out with Amy that you can "bhop" (kinda) by pressing spin and jump simultaneously.
This allows her to accelerate faster than normal, powerspring, and destroy spikes and enemies without using a twinspin (because the flags you get from the melee attack stay with you for a short while even after exiting the melee state).

You can cancel Fang's pop-gun animation by pressing jump and spin at the same time, just like Amy.

Also, with Metal Sonic, if you spindash quickly after hitting a wall in dashmode, you'll gain it back very fast, and if you do it frame-perfectly, you'll even keep the speed you built up.

I have no tech for Sonic and Tails though.
(why are they all frame-perfect :dramahog: )

EDIT: If you press both enter and escape on a server in the server browser, you can open the game's main menu while joining the server, and even get in a game with the main menu open! I've only tested opening a save in a netgame so far (which crashes the game), so who knows what kind of funny glitches we can find.

Srb2's ingame fps counter some what lies to you. the ingame fps counter jumps around in values while the Metal hud says it stays at a constant 60, if srb2's fps counter was accurate i feel like the game would stutter a whole lot. (Btw anyone wanting to know how to enable the metal hud should know it is a MacOS only thing. I'm sorry for the crudely drawn words lol.)
