I've been trying to host an SRB2 server, and it's driving me up the wall. I have port 5029 forwarded to my router, and I got Ring Racers, which uses the same port, to list. I've also been able to have people join my server. I can open up Ring Racers and start a server, use Task Manager to kill it completely so I know it's not in the way, and then try SRB2 with no luck. Then, go back to Ring Racers, and it works just fine.
I have no idea what the problem could be now, and I'm at a severe loss with every other thread I've found either having no replies, "I have this problem too", or solutions I've already tried.
I've included screenshots in no particular order so someone can tell me what I've done wrong or how to fix it.
My internet is via a Mediacom/Xtreme Eero, which logs in using an app rather than a browser.
My IP stuff according to IPconfig:
According to https://test-ipv6.com/ :
The forwarded ports in my router, along with the IPs for my computer and the router:
According to https://www.jameds.org/SRB2/port/ (I refreshed the page before taking this screenshot, and this gif appeared? It wasn't there before.)
Some additional stuff:
Server name and room:
But no results:
Elsewhere on the web via the same port:
While digging around my firewall settings, I learned that according to AVG, SRB2 is always considered "inactive," but Ring Racers does show up when I start a server. This isn't indicative of my firewall blocking SRB2; instead, it seems it is simply not going online in the first place.
