Save data for Multiplayer?

me and my cousin are playing splitscreen multiplayer and are hunting for the emeralds. Is there any way to save data in multiplayer so we don't lose our progress? addons or vanilla?

No. The game does not save data during multiplayer games (online or splitscreen).

If I'm not mistaken, there are plans to allow this on a future version though.
