So... I like to corrupt games. And I've been corrupting games recently.. and I got this.

Now, I've decided to make a Corruption thread with the weirdest/creepiest/funniest corruption snapshots I can get. And if you guys find anything! Send it here!

Hmm, no picture in your post, bud. I like the idea of this thread, but I don't know how many people would be able to participate in it. But, seeing as I do corrupt games sometimes, I'd be happy to share some of my own results.

First, here's a photograph of an accidental corruption I encountered while trying to clean out my old NES games.

And here's a video I recorded while corrupting the game intentionally, using the Vinesauce ROM Corrupter. Lots of weird and funny stuff happened.

ROM Corruptions, eh? I did quite a few of those and because there's a lot of them I'll just link the playlist it.

My ROM Corruptions.

Some are too long while some are short. It depends whether or not it gives me decent corruptions.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for GBC makes it's way in with a random Mario on the challenge level screen. :\

As well as some palette stuff..

In Pokemon Yellow...

We have Textachu!

as well as Greenachu!

and even Greenachu has his creepy side..

But we find a lost city of.... I don't know...

but seriously, WHERE AM I?

After, exploring, Oak pays me a visit looking "better" than ever.

and when we go to catch a Pikachu, Oak turns into an idiot and says we caught it.

Umm.. Oak, no we didn't.



Now on to Super Mario Bros. DX

Mario starts his adventure and finds an endless cloud.

In 1-2, apparently the pipe forgot how to pipe.

He then travels to 2-1 and finds some broken pipes.

After finding out the flag doesnt work and he can walk right past it..

He finds out the truth about 2-1...

2-1 IS ACTUALLY..

WORLD DEVIL!!!

Haha, holy shit, that video is great! The images are cool, too.

I have another corruption video I did that I can share, this time of Castlevania: Dracula X for the Super Nintendo. I like to call the video "Bathsaltvania." :P

In case it isn't clear in the video, jumping and using special weapons is what completely breaks the graphics, and trying to walk up or down stairs results in Richter falling straight down. I eventually reached a point where continuing was impossible due to the latter glitch.

Shadow has turned into scrambled eggs.
In all seriousness I can't even tell what stage or character you were playing as, I just saw one of shadow's textures on the screen. But that's just plain weird.

I was playing as Sonic in City Escape. I was grinding on a rail, when suddenly the screen had a few minor glitches (i think a black line appeared or something) and then it just did...THAT. It spazzed out immensely, as well. I wanted to get a video but alt-tabbing to open my recorder fixed it.
