Ring Escape - Spend Rings to tech out of Spins and Tumbles!

Ring Escape is a mod that adds a new gameplay mechanic, allowing you to spend Rings to tech out of hits from items and other track hazards.

Simply press Spindash (or Accel+Brake+Drift) while stunned or spinning out/tumbling to tech, immediately regaining control. This costs 10 Rings to use, but can be performed with as little as 1 Ring. If you're tumbling, you'll also get a short hop forward to assist with getting back on track or out of a pit.

v1.5 - Mod Settings are here!

Mod settings have been added to Ring Escape! You can now change the following parameters in game:

• Ring Escape Cost
  • This affects how many Rings get taken when you perform a tech. Default is 10.
• Escape Risk
  • Change how much invulnerability teching loses compared to a normal hit. Default is 2 (aka 1/2 of normal invulnerability).
• Escape During Hitlag
  • Toggles the ability to tech during hitlag like in v1.4...
