Old versions of Mystic Realm ported to 2.2.x?

Exactly what it asks in the title.

I try MANY times to play Mystic Realm v5 with the classic SRB2 style from either Final Demo, 2.0, or 2.1, but the results of each attempt end without the entire legacy experience in terms of graphics and stage mechanics. Then I had the bright idea of using Mystic Realm v4.6, the actual version from 2.1, in 2.2.10. My expectations were that it wasn't gonna work at all (and therefore have a good laugh about it.), but surprisingly, it works. It started up, and every level loaded exactly the same as from 2.1, but some tiles had the wrong colors, as you'd probably expect. Even the old Mystic Realm Zone was intact, but it used the skybox from the current Mystic Realm Zone in v5, probably because I also loaded in v5 before v4.6.(Not v5.1 or v5.2, v5 directly. Or more specifically, a modified variant that has the MUSICDEF file from v5.1 and I also removed the custom title theme.)

Is there a port of ANY legacy version of Mystic Realm to 2.2 that isn't v5? I just want the old experience of 2.1 and before for nostalgia's sake. Before you tell me to just play the older versions of SRB2, I can't because I'm on mobile, so that's why this exists.

I think you can successfully load a 2.1 version into 2.2, but it will have errors in place of music, incorrect texture color palettes, etc. Personally, I think legacy versions of the map pack are probably best preserved on the version they were intended for, as that's the purest way to play them. I can understand the appeal to playing older maps on newer versions of the game though, so I'm not explicitly against ports either. I'm not entirely sure what the permissions would be for that though. Mystic isn't around here anymore, but Mystic Realm CE is a thing without him, so I have no idea who is allowed to port/modify Mystic Realm or who specifically to ask for said permissions or etc.

Yes, I have a classic level map pack that has music that won't load in, but I have been seeing a user named mystic, they're not the same?

Mystic left the community and dev team of his own free will a while back with no intention of ever returning. His account with his old posts still exists, but it's been permanently banned.

I thought he was forced out.
I'd heard otherwise, that after the drama went down he had decided to leave willingly. I wasn't personally involved in what happened though so everything I know is secondhand at best.

Mystic essentially left on his own accord, and then some weeks later the staff decided to place a ban on his account (that is if I remember the thread right).

As for the level pack, I do not think porting the original version should be terribly difficult, as the levels aren't that complex compared to what the team behind the community edition is doing. It should be noted that if anyone really wants to see it happen, then it is best to learn how to use Zone Builder and start working.

You will also want to learn soc for all those custom enemies and bosses

Yep, I don't think it's possible to pull that off on a mobile device. And even if it was, it's a little too complex for my stupid ass to handle.

Come to think of it, I did hear that an unofficial port of Mystic Realm v4 to 2.2 exists somewhere. If anyone has it, can you link it here? I just want to play the older versions of Mystic Realm on mobile!

Checked, there's no 4.x port lol...
You can find 5.0 in http://mystic.srb2.org/mrealm/ which I think is an updated version of it? Not sure, never played 4.x
I heard that there's an UNOFFICIAL port of Mystic Realm v4. v5 is an updated version of Mystic Realm made specifically for v2.2.
I have checked literally everywhere for one and the best I got was evidence that a port exists thanks to a comment by @RalphJeremy65 on a Mystic Realm v6 Halloween demo showcase. In case you don't understand what I'm talking about, this link is to a video uploaded by @PrismaticAngel showcasing the unlockable Verdant Forest Zone from Mystic Realm v6, with the comment I just brought up being found here. I'm going back to this in 2023, and I'm still hoping for a port of Mystic Realm v4.6 or earlier to v2.2. Now that SRB2 the Past is out, hopefully we can see a bit of DLC for the mod that adds in Hub Worlds specifically made to showcase older versions of Mystic Realm. Wouldn't that be something?
