old charater wads

Hi i was just wondering how you got OLD charater wads.

We downloaded them when they were avaiable. That's how.

Altough its harsh, its true. We just downloaded them when they were somewhere on the forums/site. Its up to the wad maker to decide whether it should be re-released or staying uploaded. However, if you look in the addons section of srb2.org, you'll see a huge zip with all files of the previous SRB2 generation. Not the very oldest wads of em all, though.

It'd be REALLY nice if everyone put all their wads in zips and made links to the zips so everyone could have all the WADs...although that would be kinda bad for 56kers, and not everyone has the resources to do that. Maybe, several years from now, all the COMPLETED wads ever made for SRB2 would be put into a giant Zip so anyone could get all the wads. Of course there are many complications to this, so don't expect it to happen.

It's not the connection which would annoy me, it's the computer space I have. Imagine how big this zip would be, 10, maybe 20 or 30GB?
