New Clue character designs

Is it just me, or are the new character designs for the latest edition of Clue really bad and forgettable? It might just be nostalgia, but I feel that the older Clue character designs are much more appealing and memorable. What are your thoughts on the new designs?

As much as i love both video and board games based on mysteries and detectives,i have NEVER heard of Clue,so i cant help on this one.
