MyHouse.wad

This has been on my mind for a WHILE now.

I remember in 2024 when I was up aaallll night watching videos about this horrifying map in doom, first watching Power Pak's video, then watching jacksepticeye's playthrough, watching doom nerds playing the map, and several others. I was obsessed, and was only pulled out of this trance when I saw the sun rise. To say that I'd love to see it ported to SRB2 would be a massive understatement, I even tried doing it myself, just to realize how many textures need to be redone to ALL of the maps </3

To say I love MyHouse.wad in its entirety is an understatement, and honestly, if somebody ported it to SRB2, I'd literally make an instrumental song about them with lyrics written in another document.

If anybody wants to try their hand at porting MyHouse.wad (mainly MyHouse.pk3), I'd be above grateful. Because honestly, where I am at this point in wad making / editing, this would be considered nearly impossible for me, like a beetle dreaming of making a skyscraper of diamond.

I know there's so many more talented and experienced people in this field, so here's my wish as a beginner while I work on my two first levels... PLEASE, SOMEBODY port MyHouse.pk3 to SRB2!

I added MyHouse.wad to this post, but couldn't add MyHouse.pk3 because it's too large lmao (MyHouse.pk3 is the one I would love having ported here </3)

Unfortunately, a full port of myhouse.pk3 is impossible, due to myhouse.pk3 including over double the amount vertices that SRB2 can handle (SRB2's vertex limit is 65535, while myhouse.pk3 has 133967). If that limit wasn't a factor, everything else should theoretically be able to get ported over with little compromise with enough time and Lua code. On the other hand, I think porting myhouse.wad to SRB2 is very possible, since porting regular sized DOOM maps has already been proven to be possible with things like SRB2TP's Sonic Doom 2 port. While I couldn't get the map working unmodified with TwoTailedHero's DOOM port (The doors just wouldn't open), I assume that switching some of the linedef specials out for more compatible ones would also work fine.

also rule 15 yadda yadda people won't just make stuff for you
