Oh yeah, I wasn't sure if the boosters were supported with no-spin characters. Though what I will say is that the request was from bypigs2. As he pointed out the issue on the Discord Server when Othius was talking on the SRB2 channel, hopefully, when an update arrives. You won't have to use a method to skip the section...
 
I have now died several dozen times in the shooter act. Any tips or strategies on how to beat it? I've already figured out a few of the obvious things like don't use up health regens when your health isn't 75 or lower, take out nearby hive elementals quickly, and don't thok into TNT; but I'm still struggling to clear even one of the main sections.

Is there any chance this act could be made at least a little less aburdly difficult? I wouldn't mind so much if it were the final act, but I know there's more after this, so unless what follows is even more absurdly difficult, I think the acts might need to be rearranged for the sake of giving people a chance to see more of the later content.

....yeah, so spoilers the next act after the one you've mentioned is: a liminal space-type maze (sort of)
then again, I both agree and disagree with ya, agree cause it is quite difficult and stuff, eespecially for the first time you get into it, though disagree cause...well, some of the zones before it was also pretty difficult in some areas, so like those, this act should be possible through trial and error...or just looking up a guide, i dunno, not forcing ya to do it by yourself, all n' all-

Yeah, those last two maps were not fun to say the least. Having Ringslinger Revolution gameplay be used was a pleasant surprise, however, I still really didn't like the last one. I had to have a few friends literally show me how to beat it. Yeesh.

route spoilers : go to the tunnel immediately to the left, look for a path left when you drop into the dark then right find an elevator, at the top of the elevator go to the far end of the hall, take a left into a falling elevator... look for a diagonally angled path when you reach the crystal area, once you reach and exit the water you should be able to figure out the rest
