MechaChars - It is not known if this mod is canceled at least I think it is only missing the sprites

This mod is a beta and I don't know whether to continue or not, the lua still needs to be polished and the sprites finished but so far it's very playable and it can give you another experience playing with silver sonic game gear since mecha sonic is kind of rough and he silver sonic can be useful if you happen to make a pin ball map or something like that, it is so curious to play with both of them but nothing so innovative

it seems when you press C3, its meant to change to the fall animation, but it changes to sonics, its it intended cus its a beta, or is it something you forgot to do (i think its just the fall animation in general)

This is pretty cool but i think you should've approached someone about translating it into english instead of using something like google translate
 
This is pretty great hopefully with this release maybe some people will come and help you out to finish this up but if not this is still pretty sick.

hahaha thanks yes, I had to use this from Google, because my English is half bad .(gracias si, tuve que usar esto de google, porque mi ingles es medio malo)
 
This mod is amazing, but san someone give me a proper English rundown of the controls? I cant quite figure them all out myself and the message board on start screen explanations aren't doing too much to help for...obvious reasons.
 
Pretty good, but if you keep climbing objects with mecha, you can just climb on air? All you really needa work on is some bug fixes and spriting. Though, I don't like the boost modes? They kinda just feel forced in.

I haven't played around much with Mecha Sonic, but I think Silver Sonic is good - but there's one change I would recommend.

Maybe it'd be best if Silver Sonic's wall bouncing was only active when jumping or rolling as a ball? That seems to be where it gets the most use.

At the very least, it needs to be disabled when jumping off of a spring. Most maps weren't designed around it, so it makes simple spring jumps very annoyingly precise. Especially the ones where you're intended to land on the ground at the very height of a spring's jump, as it essentially becomes a frame-perfect endeavor of when to push forward.

Other than that, though? If you fix that, and get those last missing sprites in - this might be one of my favorite character mods. I hope you're able to finish the mod and get it out of "beta" - or, at the very least, get the help needed to do so. I very much enjoy when the often under-appreciated Sonic robots get a chance to shine, and I really like the concept and execution of Silver Sonic as a "glass cannon" type character.
 
Any chance for an update on this mod? I think the latest game update (v2.2.11 as of writing) might have broken it, you take damage whenever using Silver Sonic's double jump for some reason.

I really hope this mod isn't depreciated. I really enjoy these characters...
