Is Brak Eggman’s code based off of the Cyberdemon from Doom?

I’m aware that SRB2 started as an extremely heavy modification of Doom Legacy, but I noticed that Brak Eggman has an attack similar to the attack of the Cyberdemon boss from the first episode of Doom, that attack being the two’s missiles. Is Brak Eggman’s code based off of the Cyberdemon?

yes, in fact I'm pretty sure it's referred to as MT_CYBRAKDEMON in the mobjinfo

there was an older version of the boss that had more original attacks, but its mechanics were less intuitive and considered frustrating

One of Black Eggman's attacks are directly borrowed from the Archvile from DooM 2 as well.

I think, in this regard, my least favorite part about it is it runs its attacks thr same way any enemy in Doom does, where after a certain, randomized number of steps it attacks, thus adding a twinge of RNG and enabling the odd few times where I jump to hit it and it shoots me out of the air before I land it.

i think that sniper attack he has is a beefed up version of the archvile's flame pillar, too
