Im trying to compile

so im trying to compile srb2 2.1.0 (https://github.com/STJr/SRB2/releases/tag/SRB2_release_2.1) with this tutorial: https://www.maketecheasier.com/compile-linux-programs-source/ (and using srb2 instead of SQLite) and the sudo ./configure command doesnt work (im compiling for debian) can anyone help, im doing it in the right order

Yeah that's right ! I'm trying it this period because I joined srb2 community from v2.2.6 !
Comparing to old versions (I tried them too) it's better from many ways

Lua support was downright unusable back then, if you like the old monitors better then just replace the graphics yourself, 2.1 is back-wards compatiable with all of its previous versions and to an extent 2.0, so idk what to say

I tried again with 2.1.25 and it still says:

You will find inside a VPK, and personal notes (in French) or I advise using the file "Feb. 11 - 06:57.bin", as well as a question I had asked Rinnegatamante on Twitter (but never had an answer).
